This Privacy Policy explains how RelayEQ ("we", "us") collects, uses and protects personal data when you use our recruitment platform. We are committed to handling data responsibly and in line with applicable data-protection law, including the UK GDPR.

1. Data we collect

  • Account data — your name, email and organisation details.
  • Candidate data — information applicants submit, such as name, contact details, CV, profile links and answers to screening questions.
  • Usage & behavioural data — for screening, we record metrics such as the time taken to answer questions, to support integrity checks.

2. How we use data

We use data to operate the Service: to create vacancy posts, receive and store applications, and provide AI analysis, scoring and feedback that helps employers shortlist candidates. Employers using RelayEQ are the data controllers for the candidate data they collect; we act as their processor.

3. AI processing & third parties

To provide AI features, relevant content (such as a CV or screening answers) may be sent to a third-party, GDPR-compliant AI provider for analysis. We only share what is needed to deliver the feature, and applicants are informed and asked to consent during the application process.

4. Tenant isolation & security

Each organisation's data is logically isolated so that one organisation cannot access another's. We protect accounts with salted password hashing, account lockout, secure cookies and anti-forgery protection, and uploaded files are stored securely.

5. Retention

We retain personal data for as long as needed to provide the Service or as required by the controlling organisation, after which it is deleted or anonymised.

6. Your rights

Depending on your location you may have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict the processing of your personal data. Candidates should direct such requests to the organisation they applied to; account holders can contact their RelayEQ administrator.

7. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time and will revise the date above when we do.
